Energy-efficient lighting specialist, Ecolighting, have been awarded a contract to supply and install their energy saving light fittings to the warehouse, workshop and exterior areas of one of their older buildings.
Following a rigorous survey, Ecolighting was able to provide a full all-inclusive project managed service from consultation to supply, fit and warranty.
Sparks Transport chose Ecolighting as their preferred supplier & installer to best deliver their requirements.
Ecolighting used a variety of high & low bay LED fittings (each with its own built-in programmable
PIR), combined with exterior LED flood lights to deliver the light levels and calculated savings.
Light levels were also significantly increased in all areas.
By instructing Ecolighting to supply and install their LED lighting project, Sparks Transport were able to gain a 30% Carbon Trust grant* through the Green Business Fund and achieved a Return on Investment of just 1.9 years.
With high bay products being warrantied for 8 years and all low bay products warrantied for 5 years, Sparks Transport have achieved significant maintenance savings compared to the inefficient metal halide and fluorescent fittings previously installed.
